TPD quick to catch burglar from M.O.

Dawlton McGinn, alias Ty Goodwin, was arrested for burglary of a building and pending charges for destruction of an ATM machine on May 25 in Teague.
The Teague Police Department responded to an alarm that went off at 3:10 a.m. at a local laundromat located on South 5th Ave. Officer Justin Campbell responded to the call. Teague Chief of Police Dwayne Philpot said, “The person went up through the ceiling through the bathroom and dropped down into the office.”
Earlier that morning, 12:40 a.m., Sgt. David Keale was dispatched to a local bank near the same area to find an ATM machine damaged.
