TISD recovers from winter storm

All Teague ISD school board members were present at the school board meeting last Tuesday, Feb. 23, following the winter storm.

TISD Superintendent Chris Skinner gave the board members a detailed list of all the major damages that occurred to Teague ISD during the winter storm. All classes were cancelled at Teague ISD and throughout the state February 16-19 due to the winter storm. Monday, Feb. 15, was President’s Day and a scheduled school holiday.

Teague Elementary and Lion Academy students missed school Monday, Feb. 22, as the school assessed damages.

Teague Junior High and Teague High School students missed school Monday - Wednesday, Feb. 22-24, as the school assessed damages and made some needed repairs.
