The Teague High School band earned a 1st division in concert and a 1st division is sight-reading to win the UIL Sweepstakes Award at their contest held at Groesbeck High School on Monday, March 29.
“I am very proud of these students. Given all the difficult circumstances we had to go through to get to this point was a blessing in itself. These students rose to the occasion and pushed every step of the way,” Band Director Cory Hiles said. “I’m very blessed to be their director and I am proud of what they accomplished. This is their moment and they earned it!”
