TES staff parades for students, readies distance learning

“The last week has been incredibly difficult for our campus. We hugged our kids and told them we will see them in a week; have an amazing spring break… not knowing it’d be longer than just a few days before we would see our kids again,” Teague Elementary Principal Crystal Adams said the week after spring break.

The idea of a parade through town was briefly discussed in a faculty Zoom conference on Monday, March 23. However, when the City of Teague implemented the shelter in place order, Teague Elementary administrators Crystal Adams and Lisa Pearson knew they only had a couple of hours before it’d be too late to pull it off.
