Teague Rodeo is a go, beginning July 1

After no rodeo last year due to COVID-19 and the final night of the rodeo being cancelled due to severe weather in 2019, Teague Rodeo organizers are ready to get back to it.

The 91st annual 4th of July UPRA-CPRA Rodeo is July 1-3 with performances beginning at 8 p.m. each day.

“We are excited to be gearing up for the Teague 4th of July Rodeo this year. It will be here before we know it,” Teague Rodeo President Randy Barger said. “It seems like a long time ago since we had the last rodeo in 2019. All of the rodeo contestants have had a rough year and we hope to be back to as normal as possible this year. We hope the community will come out and support one of the oldest rodeos in Texas. We are looking forward to it, for sure.”
