Teague Juneteenth celebration starts with parade

It’s time to celebrate with the Juneteenth 2021 parade and festival.
The parade will start lining up at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19, at Teague City Park. Floats, ATVs, horses, bikes (including bicycles and motorcycles) and cars are welcome to enter. There is no deadline for entry.
The parade will start at 11 am. And it will end at Brooks Washington Park.
DaWayne Nemons, special guest speaker, will address the crowd at noon. Nemons is a former Teague ISD student.
