Teague Farmers Market this Sunday

Rain caused the first Teague Farmers Market of the year this past Sunday, January 24, to be postponed until this Sunday. The “Sunday Funday” is set to take place Sunday, January 31, from 11am- 3:30pm at 406 Main Street. There has been a huge crowd out each month for the “Sunday Fun Day” since the market opened this past August.

There are approximately 30 vendors scheduled to be at the first market of the year. There will be gumbo, funnel cakes, tacos, tamales, honey, jellies, jams, hot chocolate bombs, soaps and much more at the January market. There will be homemade arts and crafts available for purchase as well.

“We want to invite everyone out to the first market of the year to see what all the vendors have to offer,” owner Steve Idlett said. “We are hoping that the market will continue to grow for our community here in Teague.”
