Teague Election results are in

The Teague City Council unofficial Election results have been announced with 21 percent of voters making their way to the polls.

There are 1,870 registered voter out of a population of 3,500 and 394 total votes were cast Saturday, May 4.

For Alderman Place 2, Rhonda Jones took the votes with 99 during early voting, one mail in ballot and 46 votes on Election Day with a total of 146 and 38 percent of the vote.

Dennis Cox came in next with 61 during early voting and 44 votes cast on Election Day for a total of 105 and 27 percent of the vote.

Melvin Mims took the next place with 60 votes during early voting and 42 votes cast on Election Day for a total of 102 and 26 percent of the vote.
