Teague does not extend ‘Shelter in Place’
The City of Teague’s Board of Alderman took no action to extend the City’s shelter in place order Monday, April 20. The city will continue to follow the operational guidelines set forth by Governor Greg Abbott.
The city provided following rules in accordance with state regulation under the exception of that which is necessary to provide or obtain both essential or reopened services
Social gatherings are still minimized under the law, with the City of Teague recommending groups no larger than 10 individuals gathering. Social distancing is encouraged by minimizing in-person contact with those not residing in the same household. The use of face masks is recommended by the city, in addition to maintaining six feet of social distance and washing/sanitizing hands frequently.
