State begins reopening of retail stores, other businesses

With the entire state of Texas in a continuous battle against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, Governor Greg Abbott attempted to relieve pressure on the state economy Monday.

In a press conference, Abbott announced a new Executive Order to begin reopening Texas businesses amid the crisis.

Abbott laid out the plan established by the order, which is the reopening of businesses in “phases,” with “Phase 1” beginning Friday.
