Shade at the shop

Teague’s downtown Thrift Shop, under the management of Jo Nieta Cannon and with the financial help of the Economic Development Corporation, is constructing a new wooden frame for a sunshade in front and back of the store. The frames will be covered with metal to provide protection for customers from the sun and rain. Specially ordered materials will arrive soon for their completion. EDC helps businesses in such ventures by paying matching funds for the cost. The organization also helps to open new businesses. Betty Lewis is the new director.
