Glad to see the rain has slowed down although was much-needed. So glad to see the sun come out. I’m always so pleased to see our regular people coming back and enjoying lunch and fellowship with each other

A big thank you to all of our volunteers who deliver the meals no matter what the weather is doing. A special thank you to our super hard working staff at Fairfield Senior Center for the delicious lunches. You missed a treat if you missed the incredible, tasty hot stew and cornbread last week, yum.

We all had a really stressless and just plain good time playing bingo last Wednesday. Laughter is like a medicine. We all agree that it’s more than winning prizes. Everyone appreciated and certainly were pleased with the bingo gifts and new markers donated from Roger Brooke. I agree, he is a pretty good guy.

Wow what an exciting NFL Playoff Event Sunday night!

Should make for an awesome, very intense Super Bowl. I would like to bet that pizzas, hot wings, Subways chips, and dips are on lots of folks list.

Remember to pray and support our men and women in the military and our country and community.

Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of those who have experienced illness and or loss of loved ones recently.

Come by and enjoy coffee or tea and see what is going on.

Thank you to one of our dedicated volunteer drivers Sue Allison who did double duty both Monday and Tuesday at last minutes notice. Sue has always been so willing and pleasant in responding to our needs. She truly enjoys the people on the routes as they do her.
