Runoffs needed for Precinct 3 races
It looks like there will be two runoff elections in Freestone County – in the Republican race for Precinct 3 commissioner and for Precinct 3 constable.
In the Precinct 3 commissioner race, Lloyd Lynn Lane took 470 votes, 210 more than his closest competitor, Ronnie French. However, that was only good enough for 49.84% of the votes – unofficially. In the Precinct 3 constable race, Richard Lee McGowan led all candidates with 403 votes, or 43.05%. He will face Pamela the votes with 305. Brackens Barnes, wh o garnered 32.59% of or 24.36%. L.J. McAdams finished with 228 votes,
