Freestone County genealogists and history buffs now have another resource to turn to with the publication of “The Year of 1890 in Freestone County,” compiled and transcribed by Freestone County Historical Museum board secretary and genealogist Nancy Rula.

She said she decided to do this particular book “because the year 1890 is not in the census records and it will be a great tool for genealogists proving that their ancestors were in Freestone County in 1890.”
