Lions down Franklin with third-quarter TD explosion; Teague faces Rockdale next

The Teague Lions scored three touchdowns in the first five minutes of the second half to break open a one-point game and go on to claim a 41-14 win over Franklin in the regional semifinal game played Friday night, Dec. 1, at Waco ISD Stadium.
The Lions will play Rockdale at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, back at WISD Stadium with the regional championship on the line.
The Teague faithful held their breath throughout the first half and halftime, as Franklin held a 14-13 lead. They were soon able to breathe a sigh of relief as Tayvis Coleman scored his third of four touchdowns, this one from the 1 yard line.
