Pope returns to Chronicle and Recorder

Former reporter of the Teague Chronicle and Fairfield Recorder, Shelly Pope, returned as editor of the two papers Monday, Nov. 2.

She replaces Thomas Leffler, who left for a position with another newspaper group south of Houston.

“I am thrilled to be getting back to my roots in journalism,” Pope said. “This is where I belong and what I’m good at.”
