Police chase ends in arrest after traveling from Fairfield to Groesbeck through two counties

As of last Monday, two suspects remained in the Limestone County Jail after deputies used spike strips early last Thursday morning to end a two-county chase.

After a Fairfield officer attempted to stop the vehicle for a traffic violation, the driver sped off, leaving Fairfield to Teague, continuing to Wortham and Mexia before entering Groesbeck about 2 a.m.
