Online waiting list for vaccine available now

Freestone county residents wishing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Fairfield can now join an online waiting list through a portal operated by Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy.
Once eligible residents get their name on the waiting list, a pharmacy staff member will call them and make an appointment when vaccine becomes available.
It still may be several weeks before those phone calls and appointments are made, and the availability of vaccine differs by location.
The company website says that “some locations may experience longer wait times, depending on demand and the varyng sizes of first-priority groups.”
