Nursing homes loosening restrictions

Nursing home residents in Freestone county, and their visitors, will find that positive change has come with the arrival of vaccines and the loosening of state restrictions, allowing family members to enjoy more time together as spring starts to arrive.

Teague Nursing and Rehabilitation administrator Vincent Ray says families can now visit with residents at their new visitation booth, which is a beautifully crafted structure with plexiglass windows that was built and donated by a family member. New rules also allow outdoor visits, which become more appealing as the weather improves.
