Brother and sister Jean Gillet and Clayton Pennington met for the first time on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at Jean’s home in Teague.
They are both 72 years old. Jean born in May 1945, and Clayton was born in January 1945. Clayton had found his father a few years ago, but Jean had no idea she would find either biological parent at this late date. Within two days of getting results from the DNA she submitted to Ancestry. com, she found her father and her brother.
The siblings grew up within 100 miles of each other but had never met until now.
