A renovation project for the Teague Hotel is approximately 80 percent finished, giving the building at 201 Elm Street some new upgrades.
Established in 1907, the hotel is currently being renovated in hopes of bookings for events and overnight stays. The Teague Hotel board of directors hope for the hotel to be open for reservations for Homecoming in October.
The hotel has been known as a nice venue for weddings, showers, and family reunions. Downstairs is a kitchen, large dining room/gathering area, and a handicap accessible bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen was renovated several years ago.
