Mighty Lion Band performing to ‘Pandora’s Box’ at halftime

The Mighty Lion Band, under the direction of Cari Martin, has won eight consecutive Sweepstakes Awards and they are hoping to make it nine.
In order to earn a Sweepstakes Award, the band must get a “First Division” in Marching, Concert and Sight-reading in region and area -- not an easy task, considering there are usually 30 bands or more competing in both contests.
