Teague student sets his sights on medical degree

Kaigen Pillette is heading into his junior year at Teague High School. He’s on the Lion basketball team, and his teammates may start calling him, “Dr. K.”
But not necessarily for his court prowess.
Pillette recently returned from three days attending the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Lowell, Mass. Delegates who are selected to attend the event must be honor students who wish to become doctors or go into the medical research fields.
