Independence Day celebration set for July 2
Although the 4th of July rodeo in Teague has been cancelled due to COVID-19 regulations and restrictions, there will be an Independence Day celebration on Thursday evening, July 2.
As part of the festivities, the Teague Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a hot dog and hamburger supper from 5 p.m. until sold out at the Teague Hotel. Hamburger plates are $8 each and hotdog plates are $5 each.
A parade will be held at 6 p.m. The line-up will be at the Teague Elementary School parking lot at 5:30. The parade will end at the Teague Hotel at the corner of S. 3rd Ave. and Elm St. Certificates will be given for the best bicycles, 4-wheelers, golf carts, horses, and floats.
