Hydenʼs closing ... thatʼs the pits

It’s time to say good-bye to a landmark in Teague and to the proprietor who became a dear friend to so many. Randy Hyden has decided to retire his barbecue pit and take some well-deserved time for himself and his wife, Dawna, and spend time with their 11 grandchildren.

“Dawna deserves so much credit for our success and no one knows it because she is always behind the scenes doing the books and supporting all that we do,” Randy said.
