High-speed race chase ends in Freestone

A high-speed pursuit that began in Navarro County ended in Freestone County Thursday, Feb. 4, around 10 p.m, resulting in one arrest by the Freestone County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities initiated a chase with three Dodge sports cars racing southbound on I-45 at a rate of approximately 170 miles per hour. Freestone County law enforcement agencies
