Frosty reported stolen, found
During an active criminal investigation regarding theft of City property, Teague Police Chief DeWayne Philpott traveled to DAPS and recovered the alleged stolen inflatable Frosty Thursday, Nov. 29.
“I was told where to find the property,” Philpott said. “I found the property and asked City Administrator Prasil to come out and identify the property.”
After positive identification was made the 28-foot Frosty was deflated and loaded into the police vehicle.
“There are a few other items missing including the blower and some extension cords,” Philpott said. “The blower on the scene could not be positively identified as belonging to the City so it was not taken at this time.”
