Freestone County Annual Livestock Show brings in $481,550

A year of hard work and a week of competition culminated Saturday for livestock exhibitors at the Freestone County Fair livestock show sale, which brought in $481,550 to 130 4-H and FFA members.

At the auction, individual lots brought in $365,775, and add-on donations another $115,775.

The top 12 animals sold first, and included the grand and reserve champion steer, swine, sheep, goat, poultry and rabbit.
