Five TISD student-athletes commit to play collegiate football

The race to recruit good athletes is always a challenge and it is not uncommon that any school will have two student athletes qualify to commit to play football. However, it is rarely seen that any high school, particularly a small 3A school, have five student athletes commit to play college football.

Teague’s Athletic Director and head football coach Donnie Osborn said, “We have some years with two. We may have had a year with three. But this is a first for me in my thirty years. On top of that we have three going to D-1 schools. That is big for us. That is big for Teague.”
