FCSO makes meth arrests

The Freestone County Sheriff’s Office arrested a subject Thursday evening, March 12. Lt. Willis and Deputy Darby conducted a traffic stop on Hwy 164 in Donie. A vehicle search was subsequently conducted and approximately 14 grams of methamphetamine was found inside the vehicle. Two subjects were placed under arrest for a first degree felony charge, manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance PG 1 between four 4 grams and 200 grams.

Information obtained while on the traffic stop led to a narcotics search warrant being issued by 87th district court. Lt. Willis, Sgt. Cordova, Deputy Darby and Deputy Bell executed a search warrant at the subjects’ residence in Donie. One subject at the residence was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. That subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance PG 1 less than a gram and possession of marijuana less than two ounces.
