Farmers Market this Sunday

The Teague Farmers Market will be hosting their Sunday Funday this Sunday, March 28, from 11am-3:30pm at 406 Main St. in downtown Teague. The last Farmers Market was held in January because the winter storm cancelled the one last month.

There are currently 45 vendors scheduled to be set up this month. In addition to the regular vendors, lumpia and pancit which are Philippino dishes will be served this month. They are egg rolls and a noodle dish. There will also be outdoor flowers and plants available.

“Spring is here and we have an awesome market scheduled for this month with a lot of local vendors so come out and be a part of it,” owner Steve Idlett said. “When you come out to the market, you are supporting 40-50 local small businesses every month.”
