Commissioners to hold tax rate, budget hearings

Having held several meetings already in the month of August, Freestone County Commissioners will be facing another hectic week coming up.

First, a Thursday special meeting of Commissioner’s Court will host a pub lic hearing on the proposed tax rate of $.409 per $100 valuation.

This tax rate for the 2021 Fiscal Year is unchanged from the 2020 Fiscal Year rate.
