Commissioners continue talks on state allocations

Further discussion on how to best suit the country through state funding was on the agenda at a special-called meeting of Freestone County Commissioner’s Cøurt on Sept. 30.

Acquiring approximately $640,000 in funding from Texas’ efforts in the Coronavirus Relief Grant, the county approved several spending motions at the Sept. 30 meeting, approving of fund allocations as “necessary life and safety measure(s) to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 to the public.”
