City of Teague talks budget

The City of Teague department heads and council convened for the first of many budget workshops Thursday, July 19.

In the beginning stages of this 2018-2019 budget the numbers read as follows:

* The general fund lists estimated revenue of $1,825,400 with an estimated expense of $1,922,664. This would put the fund in the red with $97,264 under the amount needed to just take care of general expenses.
