City Hall opened for court payments Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

The Teague City Board of Aldermen heard department reports Monday, June 17. Teague City Administrator, Theresa Prasil, reported City Hall is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 a.m. to noon for court payments.

Prasil also reported there are 10 open building permits, three pending building permits and no open electrical or demolition permits for the month of May.

Two public hearings for replat requests will be heard at the next regular meeting of the council Monday, July 15.

The Teague Police Department will get a new roof soon courtesy of Texas Municipal League Insurance program, which will pay for the new roof completely, Prasil reported.

She also reported there four open employment opportunities for the City of Teague. One position for police secretary/deputy court clerk, one police officer K-9 officer, one animal control/code enforcement officer and one public works tech are open for the City of Teague.
