City adopts budget

The City of Teague adopted the 2018-2019 budget without a raise in the tax base of $0.759663 per $100 Monday, Aug. 20 during the regular meeting of the Teague City Council.
The meeting opened immediately into an executive session for aldermen to consult with an attorney regarding pending or contemplated litigation between the City of Teague and the City of Fairfield. The council also consulted the attorney regarding the Interlocal Facility Agreement, and an agreement between the Cities regarding record retention.
