Child vaccinations dropping across state

Vaccination rates for Texas school children appear to be dropping statewide because of parents’ fear of exposure to COVID-19 when visiting their physician’s office, and no deadline extensions or new exemptions show to be in the works before school starts.

However, Freestone county numbers show local students are in better shape than most, and the Freestone Medical Center clinic is ready to help meet any vaccination needs.
