Cazadores de Grande Johnson wins hunt
Cazadores de Grande Johnson won the 7th Annual Teague FFA Varmint Hunt held Friday, Jan. 31, through Saturday, Feb. 1 with a total of 605 points. Team members included Michael Campbell, Brandon Campbell, Zach Gauntt and Greg Johnson. The team won $1,000 and four belt buckles.
“The FFA hunt is a blast and I have been doing it all seven years. The memories we make while out hunting is the best,” Gauntt said. “I support the Teague FFA because I want to ensure it will be around for future generations. I was in FFA going through school and it wasn’t just sitting in the AG classes, it was about becoming a stronger individual and learning to function as a team. As long as the Teague FFA has something going, I’ll be supporting.”
The Fantastic 4 came in 2nd place with 435 points. Team members were Chance Sullivan, Payton Wilson, David Marez and Grady Williams. The team won $500.
