The case of the stolen Frosty continues

A misdemeanor case of theft was heard by the Grand Jury Wednesday, Jan. 23 and the case was true billed against Charles Gregory for the theft of the 20-ft. Frosty the Snowman inflatable Christmas decoration.

The case was filed with the District Attorney Dec. 18, 2018 by the Teague Police Department after the inflatable was discovered displayed at Daps on Hwy 84 in Teague by Gregory.

In the Dec. 6 edition of the Teague Chronicle is was reported during a criminal investigation regarding theft of City property, Teague Police Chief DeWayne Philpott recovered the alleged stolen inflatable Frosty Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018.

After positive identification was made the 28-foot Frosty was deflated and loaded into the police vehicle.
