Brothers work together on show swine projects

Brothers Andrew and Toby Tucker are ready to show their market swine Friday morning as part of the 2020 Freestone County Fair market show. The show, as well as the ag mechanic show, began Wednesday and will continue through Friday. The livestock show sale will take place Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m.

The brothers also showed at the Freestone County Breeding Show in Groesbeck at the Limestone County Fairgrounds this past Saturday.

Andrew just finished his sophomore year at Teague High School and Toby just finished 8th grade at Teague Junior High. The brothers work hard together to raise their swine. Although they work together to raise their project, when it comes to the show ring, the brothers are competitors.

When asked if he liked showing with his brother, Toby was fast to respond, “No, I want to win. I don’t like showing with him.”
