Edith Nichols (in the pink hat) had her 7th birthday and as many years prior she decided that everyone coming to her party should bring non-perishable food for The Lord’s Community Storehouse in Teague. On Tuesday morning, April 24, along with her mother Edith brought a pickup truck load of food for the storehouse. This time the donation was for $275 worth of food by calculating the pounds into a monetary donation. Since Edith has been doing this, she has donated a total of $1,450 to the Lord’s Storehouse. Standing with Edith is her sister Nettie. Nettie’s birthday donations are handmade hug-a-bles for the children’s unit at Freestone Medical Center. The girl’s parents are Keith and Stephanie Nichols.
