Another round of rescues

After another round of storms – prompting a tornado watch – passed through the area Wednesday night, eight roads were closed to traffic Thursday morning due to flooding and Teague VFD reported three high-water rescues in the early morning hours.

TVFD said they, along with Dew, Fairfield, and Buffalo fire departments, rescued drivers from high water at mile marker 181 on the I-45 service road, the railroad underpass on U.S. 84 in Teague, and mile marker 194 on the service road.
