Alderman censured by Council

During a more than two hour executive session, the Teague City Council Board of Aldermen returned to open session and moved to censure a fellow Alderman, Ron Rasbeary, for conduct unbecoming an Alderman.

As the meeting began Tuesday, Feb. 19 Alderman candidate, Dennis Cox, approached the podium for the visitor speaker section.

Cox addressed the executive session item listed under 551.074 to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, or to hear a complaint or charge against an officer or employee.
