23 THS students advance to next level
State bound
Twenty-three Teague High School students loaded the bus early on Saturday morning, Feb. 8, and headed to Temple College to compete in the UIL Solo and Ensemble competition. They all had winning on their mind and all garnered a 1st Division rating to advance to the state competition in May.
Anna Rogers earned a 1st Division on her solo and flute ensemble to move on to state.
Lyli Jasso netted a 1st Division on her clarinet solo to advance to the state competition.
Alexis Beldin, Fransisca Gomez, Anna Rogers, and Natalie Gomez also received a 1st Division with their flute quartet to advance.
