Beloved Bi-Stone area athletic trainer dies at age 47

Hundreds of family members, friends, coworkers and Bi-Stone athletes past and present attended a Celebration of Life ceremony for Norman Christopher Parks, 47, on Tuesday, Aug. 15, at the Teague High School auditorium.
Parks, who was entering his fourth season as the Lions’ athletic trainer, died Saturday, Aug. 12, after a briefillness.
