Long enjoys helping people at City Hall, motherhood, Karate

Many know Allyse Long when they see her because she is the Utility Clerk for the City of Teague. Yes, she is the one who gets all the complaints when your water bill is too high or pipes are broken or clogged. She handles the payments and all of the billing process.

“I do get people calling or coming in who are upset about their bill, but it is all part of the job,” Long said. “I understand their concerns and try to solve their problems. I like helping people.”
