Voting a constitutional duty

This is the season for voting and Halloween. One is where we scare people for fun and the other is where we scare people for real. Since we live in a country governed of the people by the people and for the people, voting is the method we use.

I remember hanging around in the background at the Cotton Gin store listening while the men talked about the Eisenhower race, but the conversion also covered the Truman-Dewey race in 1948 that Truman won while expected to lose. The consensus was people going to vote got to thinking about those small social security checks that people across the country were receiving might be shut off if there was a change in administrations and changed their minds at the last instance.
