Thank God for running water

I am so grateful for running water, dish washer, washing machine, showers and baths! I grew up in a time when most people had running water.

My grandparents were farmers and they didn’t have running water until I was about 12.

That being said, we did not have an indoor potty at our cabin, my dad and his friends built our cabin in about 1966, and put a bathroom in, but didn’t plumb it (I’m sure that was a financial decision).

The kitchen had running water, but not the bathroom. We didn’t care, we loved going to the cabin every weekend (it was a hunting club).
