Slave labor an aberration to economic systems

Most of us throughout our adult life have worked for some type of organization and received a paycheck every month. However this wage labor is a relatively modern concept that has been in existence primarily since the industrial revolution, which is a very short time in the history of man. The world economic organization has passed through several stages beginning with the hunter-gatherer, agriculture, guild or individual craftsman and fi nally free wage labor.
