Senior Center News

Wow we had a busy week. It certainly did go by fast. We are happy to see that our attendance is climbing again.  

Thanks to Sonya Bibby and Lynda Red for lending a much needed hand Thursday at bingo. We enjoyed an unusually large crowd in the dining room at our center last Thursday.  We  served 22 at lunch and had 19 people playing bingo. We had four regulars who missed bingo. I had to go into my office and get more bingo playing cards, yea, I was such a pleasant and welcome surprise to see miss Pat Pryor back at her table some last week.  We were so please to have Stanley Hargett back at his regular spot.

He had a surgical procedure a few weeks ago and is doing well. The day of bingo last Thursday, I had no bingo prizes from our sponsor yet. The Lord always comes through for our center.  We had a new sponsor Jo D Wilson, with At Home, Home Health out of the Waco office with us doing blood pressure checks and this thing answering medical questions for our guest. She also brought a large assortment of bingo gifts. It is so refreshing to have someone to, not only, greet and take care of our guest that stayed with us through lunch and called the entire bingo game with our crowd, it enabled me to be able to clean and take care of the center.
